Short-Intermediate Tax-Exempt Fund Launches

On August 22, 2007, Northern Funds launched the Short-Intermediate Tax-Exempt Fund.

The Short-Intermediate Tax-Exempt Fund is the ideal complement to the existing Northern tax-exempt funds line-up—the Tax-Exempt Fund and the Intermediate Tax-Exempt Fund. It allows conservative investors to take advantage of the various maturities and durations the three funds can offer. The maturities are projected to range between one and six years while duration is projected at two to three years.
