Chad Rakvin, Senior Vice President of Northern Trust, is Director of Global Equity Index Management for the Quantitative Management Group of Northern Trust Global Investments. Mr. Rakvin oversees domestic and international equity index management and currently co-manages the Northern Mid Cap Index Fund, the Northern Small Cap Index Fund and the Northern Stock Index Fund.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2004, Mr. Rakvin was a Principal and Head of Index Research for Barclays Global Investors in San Francisco where he oversaw strategies for international and U.S. equities. Previous to his role at BGI, Mr. Rakvin was the manager of Quantitative Analysis for Dow Jones Indexes.

Mr. Rakvin received a B.S. degree in finance from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
