The Northern Global Sustainability Index Fund invests in the highest-ranked large- and mid-cap companies throughout the world, based on environmental, social and governance factors — an approach that KLD believes identifies businesses with long-term, sustainable value.

The Fund searches for companies that address key social and environmental concerns of the present, without compromising the quality of life for future generations. This first-of-its-kind Fund employs advanced statistical methods to mirror the composition and performance of the KLD Global Sustainability Index.

The Fund differs from other socially responsible funds in two primary ways:

•	It is sector-neutral to help limit risk.
•	It uses a positive screening process that assesses companies in industries generally excluded from other socially responsible investments, thereby enhancing overall return potential.
